This medical drama series on FOX is simply superb and I have fallen in love with the show. With Season three complete am waiting for the forth season to start, which is on
25th Sep that is Today and hence the post :D.
Everything about the show amazes me: the medical mysteries, sexy Lisa Edelstein & Jennifer Morrison, the acerbic and brutally honest protagonist, DR. GREGORY HOUSE and I can go on.
At the end of season three, House fires/looses all his members in the team. So, it would be interesting to see how he would replace them in season 4. So don't miss the
show tonite.

Why name it as "Thotha"?
A good old friend of mine had left a voicemail today. In his voicemail he called me "thotha" which was my nick name during my school days. I had not heard it for a long time now. Well back those days I was know for my impeccable ability to remember and repeat things. Thats why I was known by that name.
He reminded me of that name at the right time, when I was struggling to name my blog.

G(-)String
Well previous post reminded me of another incident which I thought I must blog.
Well a friend of mine "you-know-who (ykw)" wrote a code, which he had to take it to Interview. This coding thing was a prerequisite for the interview. It had to do with finding duplicate files in a file system blah blah. Mr. "ykw" wrote the code using GString library, C++ class library I think. So he used all the GString functions in that library to do whatever he needed for the program. On the day of the interview, he was interviewed by a female. Rest is history as they say.
Imagine how he would have explained G(-)string functions to her. This G(-)String is very efficient in whatever it does.. lol..

as_hole()
Who in there sane mind would coin such a name for a function. Came across this function used by Kernel to find an "hole" in the process address space so that it could map a segment on to that hole. Well, though the name of the function does suggest it's behavior it's funny to see such a name being defined. Well imagine a case where the function fails and throws an error message
"as_hole failed".. Well now its renamed to as_gap().
